SOCIAL AND CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
Deyde Data Quality, committed to the social, economic and environmental improvement contributes actively and voluntarily in achieving these three objectives, counting with the involvement of the entire organization
Deyde intends to go beyond mere compliance with laws and regulations, developing its businesses in a responsible and solidary way, as well respecting and complying with the laws and regulations.
As examples of the different initiatives undertaken in this regard, we could indicate:
- Collaboration with NGO’s (Aldeas Infantiles, S.O.S. España, …).
- Donations in case of catastrophes (Haiti earthquake, …).
- Scholarships for students.
- Promoting employment, reinvesting part of the profits to create jobs, with special attention to young people looking for their first job and people over 40.
In 2010, on the occasion of the annual convention, Deyde gave to all its collaborators a gift acquired from the Afim Foundation, a private, nonprofit and charity organization dedicated to patients with physical, mental, sensory and mental difficulties.
“Los Jabones de Afim” is a special employment center in which six disabled people produce soaps in a traditional fashion, using 100% natural raw materials.
Since 2011, given the increasing number of collaborators and the bigger volume of office supplies used, Deyde has in its offices recycling specific points:
- Special containers for recycling print cartridges and toners. These cartridges and toners are periodically collected by a specialized company authorized for the handling and destruction of these materials.
- Containers for collecting paper. All paper used in the offices, and provided that they do not contain personal data, is deposited in these containers. Subsequently, the containers are emptied in containers for recycling paper and cardboard.
Another example of Deyde’s commitment to the environment is the recent disclosure among its collaborators of a manual with a series of practices and tips on saving. The handbook contains measures such as using "green" equipment, the reasonable use of artificial light or the proper use of air conditioning in the offices.
